About DACA

Our Mission

DACA's mission is to empower low-and moderate-income people, in the state of Delaware, to improve their communities through education, training, community organizing, and outreach.

DACA is committed to organizing and empowering low- to moderate-income communities in the State of Delaware.  DACA’s membership, leadership, staff and allies believe that the best advocates for troubled low- to moderate-income communities are empowered residents who are directly affected by injustices such as renters neglect, economic discrimination, substandard housing, poor-quality education, and environmental hazards. Through leadership training and community organizing, DACA equips community members with the necessary tools and skills to spark equitable and sustainable institutional change in Delaware.
